This project features a unique central courtyard — a calm, contemplative space at the heart of the development. Working closely with the architect, who brought a subtle Asian influence into the building design, our landscape response adopts a modern Japanese aesthetic: minimalist yet rich in detail, restrained yet deeply expressive.
The courtyard sits above a basement structure, which limited the use of heavy planting and large-scale built elements. Rather than seeing this as a constraint, we saw it as an opportunity — to explore lightness, texture, and spatial rhythm in a more refined way. Every element, from the carefully chosen materials to the sculptural planting, was designed to be visually engaging from all four sides, offering residents and visitors a quiet moment of connection with nature.
This landscape doesn’t try to impress through scale, but through balance, stillness, and the quiet power of thoughtful design.
